About this experience
Give back with a Volunteering Day! Partner with Citymeals on Wheels! Everyone will congregate at the Joan & Bob Tisch Meal Distribution Center in the Bronx for a hands-on team building activity of meal packing for the homebound older adults in NYC. Under the warehouse staff’s supervision, volunteers can assemble boxes, pack nutritious shelf stable meals and support our emergency preparedness work as a team. An orientation is provided to explain Citymeals mission and impact: Citymeals on Wheels delivers over 2 million meals to nearly 22,000 homebound older New Yorkers annually.
